We also want to develop as an employer and actively work to make the best use of your knowledge and commitment. We appreciate and encourage co-creation from everyone.

We hope you will enjoy being with us!
Do you want to be a safe role model for young people entering adulthood?
About the assignment
At Edingen, we work with young people (16–21 years) who live in their own apartments in Uddevalla. For various reasons, they cannot live at home but can manage without extensive care interventions. We are now looking for an engaged housing supervisor to replace a colleague who is retiring. At the same time, we are expanding the team with a family therapist, which means you will join a business in positive development.
We operate from the Family Office and share premises with the rest of the family support unit. Here, you will be part of a larger community within the department for children and youth, where the walls are filled with experience and competence.
Your tasks
As a housing supervisor, you are the spider in the web for the young person's practical everyday life. Your colleague (the family therapist) focuses on emotional support, while your focus is on making everyday life work. Together with social workers and the youth, you will design an implementation plan that guides the work.
Your days may include everything from making weekly budgets, cleaning schedules, and meal planning to attending meetings with schools and authorities. You are the stable adult who guides, motivates, and supports - without taking over.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who is secure, flexible, and fearless. You have the ability to maintain calm and structure even when circumstances change rapidly. You are a professional at distinguishing between the personal and the private and have clear boundaries, while also being warm and inspiring.
Requirements for the position:
- Experience working with youth in social services.
- Driver's license (B).
- Good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written).
Meritorious:
- University education in social work (e.g., social pedagogue, social worker).
- Experience in supported housing activities.
- Training in relevant methods for the target group.
